If the fuel pump is not dead/dead, I would disconnect the fuel rail in the engine bay, pinch a rubber hose onto it and jump the pump at the diagnostic connector into 5 gallon tanks until it's empty.
If the pump is totally dead, consider picking up a cheap electric pump from the parts store. I have removed the filter and slaved a pump into that location to pump a tank dry before too. Ensure you pickup fittings to mate the pump to the tank line.
