Disappointed in my paint

1. if its fords fault its too far gone to deal with now
2. if its your fault having it repainted will reveal that if the same thing happens to the next paint job.

if you like the car just have her repainted, man. if you're right it wont happen again and the problem will be solved.

Yeah, I'm not happy about it at all. All Ford does it give me a run around, they don't really care. They don't seem to realize that fixing my paint gets them a lot of business in the long run, they would make up that 3,000 dollars for a paint job pretty quick.

TOO LATE MAN!! The window is closed. Seriously, there is nothing they should do since it has been so long and you didn't push it at the beginning. There is no way to prove it's a factory defect now. Get over it and sell it or live with it.

Ateup, you treat me as I'm whining about this. I can promise if your car was doing this you'd be doing the same as me. Maybe I just took your last post the wrong way. But Ford has not done a thing for the paint and the suspension ever since the first 6 months of ownership. Well within my warranty, so I did push it at the beginning. I called Ford and have taken it back to the dealer when the car was 6 months old.

And actually you can still tell it's a factory defect, the car still has the original paint, it should never do this.

I probably will eventually repaint the car sometime down the road. I tried out some turtle wax: the black box and it actually hides some of it pretty good. So for now I'll just keep doing that every month or so.

I'm not in Cali, but thanks for advice. That's a good idea with doing some work. I know a little bit about paint, so I'll probably sand the car down myself when I do get it painted.
