That post shows how much you really know about drag racing. Street racing IS drag racing, unless your out there doing the "ricer roll".

Also the comment of nitrous being for ricers, calling it "NOS" makes you sound like a ricer. In the real world, most of the true fast cars at the tracks are using nitrous.

As for you outrunning Jake's "NOS" powered car, I'd put money on him handing you your ass. On the street or the track.
 
Handz, quit being scared, and go get a time slip. The only reason you dont want to go, is because you know that you will only be able to run some mid 12's in your car. It's ok, we will not make fun of you to much when you bust off those mad 12.50 runs.
 
I only ended up getting ot make one full pass that night, but it was on motor. It ended up running a 8.14 @ 84mph in the 1/8 mile. It was actually on the nitrous tune on that run. When comparing the nitrous tune to the N/A tune, it has 6 degree's taken out of it. Plus the rear shocks were set a little to stiff so it was shocking the tires a little to hard. I'm going to set the rear shocks and little softer and put the N/A tune back in it and go back out there this weekend. I really think I can run a 7.9x in the 1/8th. I will be happy with that for still having stock manifolds, stock pulleys, and 163k miles on the factory long block.

I spend my time with Real Drivers..... In The twisties. I leave all that straight line nonsense to John Force and those other old guys.

At least my car doesnt say "Danger To Manifold" when i shoot my NOS lol

I dont waste my Time at the "Drag Strip".... Especially since there is only a 8th mile in my area of the country.

I spend my time with Real Drivers..... In The twisties. I leave all that straight line nonsense to John Force and those other old guys.

At least my car doesnt say "Danger To Manifold" when i shoot my NOS lol
