Another Mach 460 Q: Any way to splice in an ipod jack?

Sorry to bump this old thread, but would this be a good option?
Amazon.com: Harman Kardon DPFMT 1 US Drive and Play Wired FM Transmitter Adapter: Electronics

Is the sat antenna input the same as the radio, or would i put it inline with the radio?

Unless I'm mistaken, that won't let you use either the radio or CD changer. I just ordered a Harmon Kardon Sirius adapter that goes inline with the antenna, hopefully it works. Either way, it was only $10, so no big loss if it doesn't do what I want it to. I'll post up the results after I install it.

I have used 2 aftermarket headunits with my Mach 460 and they sound great. Not much bass, but for a stock system, even at high volume it sounds clear.

Both of them had iPod hookups in the rear so I just run the cable up through my center console. Looks great, and no visible wires unless I choose to put my phone in the cupholder as shown below.

I hate to bump an old thread but i am sure others are curious about this...

I recently purchased the FRDN/pc-pod2. It's made by the same manufacturer as the FRDN-AUX unit above but works like the Ipod interface in the video. I installed it this weekend and it works great (I dont have the flashing 1/2 glitch either). The basic stereo controls work without touching the Ipod/phone and it charges them as well. I managed to find it from a vendor online for $80 new shipped to my door. The install was pretty easy as well. So anyone who might be looking for something like this without swapping headunits, check it out
