My last ditch effort is going to be to pull the TRANS being it's gonna have to be pulled for the motor any way .
pull the clutch - put bell back on and fire the car . make sure it isn't the clutch then I'll take it from there

Rock that bad boy like it aint yours and piece together a good shortblock over time ! Its really nothing bad enough to pull out and waste money on, the heads are easily fixed even if something did go but I doubt anything big enough would happen to damage them anyway....

Unfortunately Kris it seems to be getting worse at time goes on and I can't stand it lol it's driving me nuts it's to the point if I put the car in boost in second and don't hold the shifter it will throw the shifter out of second gear that's how much it does it

I predict this thread will grow 40 more pages trying to eliminate this pesky vibration or rebuilding the motor thus well representing the title of the thread. :pop: toodles
I predict it will never end hence the title . I almost was tempted to sell it and start over new and then I backed away from the wall I hit my head on . I am a perfectionist with something's and having the car run and drive right is one of them .

Im with you Jeff. Id find a cheap, POS long block to throw in and see if you are still having the issue. It's a lot of work, but to me, it sounds like you are going into the engine regardless. - - - -Unless its the clutch.

Mine has a similar vibration @ 2k rpms regardless of gear, although its worse in 2nd than anywhere else. I'd like to know what issue you are having so I know where to look also. The difference is I don't have a vibration in neutral....

Yeah and all the stuff I tried leaves me with a clutch or internal issue now I'm just getting a little burned out with this considering all the stuff I have done to try and remedy it

Don't blame you. Sometimes these things can be a blackhole. I say "take a break". Come back to it in a few days or a week and start tearing into it. I personally would eliminate all the probable causes other than engine internals first(sounds like the clutch is the last). Then I'd just drive it until she pukes. At the same time save for a shortblock. Season is getting short to be driving it anyway.

Yeah I just really wanted to make some passes with it once the cooler weather came around .
Well check the clutch and if that's not it...take it to the track and let it eat! Oh and make sure you bring a trailer. ;) If it blows it blows. I know that's easy for me to say I don't have the time, money, sweat, blood and tears invested but honestly that's what I'd do. F**k it! And expecting it to blow means it will probably be fine. Right?

I'm tempted to order a new clutch and just change it and see where I am at . I could always hold on to the Centerforce or sell it to a friend whatever
