Cloth or Unisuede, like the Terminator Cobra inserts - both are very breathable.

When are you guys going to start offering this interior?

On a serious note, it really depends on what type and what the leather/vinyl seats looks like.

The leather seats in my F150 with the perforated centre sections are beautiful. Any stock style leather/vinyl seat I've seen for a fox body that were designed to copy the style of that era looked and felt like glorified hard plastic (with the exception of some of the TMI patterns).

I've noticed a big difference in the look and feel of 80's style leather seats, versus modern era seats.

In conjunction with tall seat foam?

Not sure what you're meaning by 'tall seat foam'...

84-89 have a 26" back rest, 90-93 are 24 if that is what you mean.

But we offer the terminator styled seats with the unisuede inserts for the 84-93 Foxes, so you'd be good with any seat foam/frame you used.
However, our Cobra styled seat for the fox does have larger bolsters for better side support!

I think he's referring to the "thicker" seat foam in the lower cushion. Some people aren't crazy about the taller ride height position afterwards.

I'll admit, it's a bit of an annoyance, but easily remedied by a little creative shortening the seat frames. I think some here forget how little support the stock seat foams actually provided when they scoff at the TMI versions? Fox Mustang seats have always been criticized for their lack of comfort and support.

IMO, the blame should be placed on Ford for their poor geometry of their seat design.

Or a company could either sell a product that doesn't need modification and or not sell it at the same price point where one could take the seats to an upholstery shop and get a pro job.

Aside from the increase ride height, I have no complaints about my TMI foams. They fit just fine under my stock seat covers.

I mean, they could have just built them the same height as the stock ones....then people would complain that they aren't any better than stock and offer the same crappy support?

....and you haven't gotten your stuff back from the upholstery shop. Might wanna hold off on the praise till you see what they look/feel like. ;)

i hear ya on the upholstery shop, but the whole Kurt being 5'7" and his head rubbing the headliner in his SN was the de breaker for me. That and paying $700 and having a zipper on the back is kinda cheesy. But mostly it was a short fella having his eyes at the top of the windshield and paying nearly $1k to get there.

If i were to spend a long period of time in my car driving, i'd go cloth. Nothing sucks worse than peeling yourself off a leather/vinyl seat on a hot day after a long ride.

However, since my car has moved 1000 miles in the last 10 years, i roll around on awful, but nice looking 2004 GT leather seats :)
