Yeah, kept looking for why it was only priced at 1750... fender needs replaced... 100 bucks... headlight/turn signal needs replaced... 75 bucks.... Talking him down to 1400 bucks .. Priceless! Seriously though the little v6 runs great, has headers( don't know if they came factory) and after new cobra GT tires, will be a nice little driver. Even thought about squeezing some more power outta the little motor. I am glad to have stumbled upon this site, and was also pleasantly surprised at the quickness of the Stang. Oh I forgot there is a smell of fuel, but I believe it's the canister. Have a great one!

Thank y'all! I'm not an internet guru, so please forgive me for any mistakes made on hgere. ( I reckon I already responded to a year old forum -- oops) Just got back from putting a brand new set of cooper cobra GT tires on her tonight!

Same year as mine... Hope you don't end up going through the things I have with mine over the years. New ball joints, new front bearings, fuel filler grommet, left door hinge bushings. Nice looking ride!

Wow that's weird..?? I know that the drivers door sags a tad, and I can smell fuel, although the grommet is dry, I believe it's the overflow tube cracked. (I bought it full tank supposedly) That brings the next thing: It still hasn't dropped off full even after at least 30 miles of driving...? The Tire Barn guy said that the front end looked good, so lucky there. I did notice some discoloration near the bottom of the filler dual tube thing though. Still trying to learn the vehicle. She runs great though! Thanks for the post and heads up.
