Did they fit without pulling motor?9333 pt1 here and arp studs as well
Is it worth the extra 75$ for studs? Any recommendations on where to get them?
You say if I plan to swap heads often to get studs.. Does that mean you can use them more than once? I have a set of bolts laying here that I used for less than 5k miles. I thought they were junk after you used themIf you plan on pulling the heads often and/or planning on a power adder, then yes get the studs. I went with ARP bolts as my build is around 300rwhp n/a and the bolts have always been worry free for me. Either way you will be fine IMO.
Summit was having a black friday 10% off sale. If not, check with LMRS or AM for prices, as they give Stangnet members a discount.
Depending on the head you use, you may need either 1/2 inch size bolts/studs or the step washers if using 7/16 size .

They look the same other than the reducers used for 1/2 to 7/16 holes. 351 uses 1/2 studsThese http://www.latemodelrestoration.com...ng-50L-Arp-High-Performance-Hex-Head-Stud-Kit on LMR but have a different part number than the ones you posted.....
This isn't a rush, slowly over the winter I am going to work on it. I have a 3 year old and a 2 month old that I spend 99% of my free time with. My 3 year old thinks it is fun to go through my toolbox and move stuff from one drawer to another so I can't find it later. So that makes it hard to take him to the garage with me
