Im confused. if you're not using the stock ecm and going stinger and they have No provision for egr. Why do you need the wires or bypass kit?
Cant you just buy / make a cover plate and pull the wiring for it?

Oh. yeah you're right, I don't know what I was thinking. You don't need any of it, especially the block off plates.

The block off plate blocks the egr hot air passage from the upper intake manifold I believe and also has the mounting points for the throttle linkage. Not sure about needing the sensor eliminator since the PiMP may not be looking for that signal anyway but I did ask Shannon about it and I'm waiting to hear back.

So it's settled, I got this from Shannon today,

You don't need any "tricks", our ECU doesn't expect an EGR to be installed.

All we need is the EGR block off plate so we can mount the throttle linkage. I might be going for the trickflow plate on LateModel that @A5literMan suggested, it comes with both gaskets and new correct length studs to bolt it all up. Unfortunately the UPR one doesn't.

Not much progress this weekend but I did manage to get my upper intake manifold painted, 30# injectors and fuel rails installed. Upper intake is only resting on top. I'm debating buying a new heater pipe that doesn't have the egr connections on it. The Canton valve covers are very nice however, as mentioned before, the baffle sucks! I had to go to Ace Hardware with my valve cover and match up the correct size screws to get that thing mounted solid. Ended up needing #10 x 3/8" sheet metal screws. That did the trick along with some thread locker.

Those covers look nice! I'm still deciding on what I'm going to use. I think I'm going to need as much clearance as possible yet fit under the intake. I really like the ones Nick did for @TOOLOW91. Im going to use a catch can also. What brand of headers are those? Ceramic or chrome plated?

Those are ceramic full length BBK 1 5/8" headers.

Wrap string around the pulleys and mark with a sharpie. Go a little longer as belts measure on the OD and If you use the string's length the belt will be too short. I just went thru this with my son's car. I had to add about an inch to the string's measurement to get what I needed. That setup is REALLY purty, btw.

Are you running a standard rotation water pump?
