I'm newer to the mustang community, but I have a built 98 gt with a built 4.6, I was wondering what kind of power I am making, It has. Patriot stage 2 heads, comp cam, mild bottom end build, accufab 75 mm throttle body, jlt intake, mad ignition ford racing wires, SLP exhaust. And it has been tuned professionally... I'm missing something.

Do you know what cam? My old 96 GT with the stock heads and Comp 262's was at 245HP with all the bolts ons. My '03 with a full internal build and Comp 278's is around 345HP on a comparative dyno (325 on a Mustang Dyno). Lots of variables depending on the total of all the mods.

Okay so I finally got a hold of the previous owner, and he said the build sheet I have is from the first build and it had been built twice, he said it now has stage 3 comp cams (I thought the cams were way to aggressive to be what the build sheet said) but he said it should be making mid to high 300's is that possible out of an n/a 2v 4.6?

Only way to tell is to have it dyno'd. My car has about everything you can do to a 4.6. Dyno'd at 325 on a Mustang Dyno...adding for the differences between the Mustang dynomometer and the Dynojet it would be around 360 on the Dynojet. Mine was bored .30 over so looks like we have about the same motor. So yes...mid to high 300's is about right.

thanks for the quick replys next question I have is what would the best bang for my buck to get more power out of what I already have, such as nitrous kits, superchargers or other possible ways to get more power, which one would be the safe to run.
