i have a crane cams pedestal - stud conversion kit and crane 1.6 roller rockers on my car, and had to do major clearancing on the baffle on the passenger side to clear the roller rocker, and im now concerned with oil getting thrown up into the vent to the throttle body. does anyone have any experience with what valve covers have good clearance?

Mustang Aluminum Valve Covers Polished (86-93) 5.0

i like those but they say some clearancing is required with 1.7s, and i think my pedestal to stud conversion sits the rockers up higher than usual

does anyone have an recommendations on valve covers that will clear plenty of roller rocker?

if they have to be tall enough to move the manifold up ill get a spacer for that. and i do plan on running the vent tube to the throttle body, so it cant be an old carbed set with no barb fitting.

thanks!

How much clearance do you need? An early trick was to get two sets of Fel Pro composite gaskets. Use weather strip adhesive to glue two per side together and have a thick gasket set.
