Hey,

Lately my 96 Gt has become hard to shift, to the point i can't get the car in first great at a stop light. Sometimes i even get stuck in a gear.

--I have notice to car only does this once it has warmed up. when I start cold i can shift w/o problems. (Or when the car is off it shifts just fine.)

---Also i can feel the car lightly shaking at light if i leave it in gear with clutch pressed down.

(" I have tried shift into gear on flat surface, with clutch press and the car didn't roll.")

not saying this is your problem but it's a money free shot in the dark...I was having trouble at high rpms with my syncro's 1st and 2nd really bad. unhooked battery for 15 mins went on a nice 30 min fun drive haven't had a problem since. if you have a check engine light on might be that you recently interrupted power and not given the car time to notice it even has syncro's.

I dunno if you are currently running Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF in your trans, but if you aren't definitely put some in ASAP!!.. I have an 04 car which has the crappy Tremec TR360 ( Manual ) and when i first bought my car i drove it for a couple month's and it was very notchy, loud, and would grind in pretty much all gears but 1-2 and reverse were the worst!. I went to a guy highly recommend in my area that does a lot of high performance ( mainly mustangs-camaros ).. He told me to stay away from the " Secret Sauce " thing lol . He was telling me that he has guy's come in that have made their own concoctions and makes thing's worse! He told me to stick to M1 syn atf fluid and DO NOT add friction modifiers, GM/Pennzoil syncromesh, or ANY Royal Purple products!!.. One more thing does it make a really loud noise when you press the clutch in?.. Reason i ask is because i had a bad throw out bearing in my 02 WS-6 Trans Am and it did similar thing's your car is.. Best of luck bro! Hope it's something minor that don't cost a lot of $!! Take care :)

***Update*** There was no oil in the motor. After adding some oil an driving around for a few day haven't had the problem since..... Idk. How to explain this

-Hope this helps someone

I'd really like for you to explain to me the connection between the vehicle's ECU & the Transmission's synchronizers?
