I bought a 87 convertible around 10 years ago as a project but as things go, I ran out of money before I got it anywhere. I have had a tough time giving it up, but every year it seems to deteriorate more and I don't see having the money to finish it in the next few years. I think its time to sell it and make space for other things.

Its a 87 and runs. Not in good shape cosmetically. A small tree fell on it in a storm and crushed a portion of the top and dented the side. Also has a dented fender. I bought the maximum motor sports full road and track suspension kit for it but only got it half installed. I know I paid around $2K for the kit. It has shorty headers new cat back exhaust, 3.73 gears. Flat tires, so it cant even be driven away.

Seems like I could get more for the parts than the car, but I just need it gone in one shot.

What do you think I could ask for it? Upstate NY.

Sounds like it has everything a prospective buyer is looking for in a car
  • 10 year old abandoned project car
  • Deteriorated from sitting
  • Dents in fender and side
  • Tree fell on it
  • half installed suspension
  • flat tires
What is not to like? Without pictures, I'd say maybe $500-600 if the engine is not siezed

I just bought a 1990 convertible for $500 with the sole purpose being to part it out. It was a complete running driving 5.0 5 speed, but it was a total piece of crap. I have made $700+ profit...yes profit so far and still have many parts to sell. I say part it out from the sounds if it.
