On3 Performance .. Not Impressed.

Wow... So basically everything sucks.

Well, I haven't had a piping failure yet, but it did not fit perfectly. The headers, crossover and cold piping were ok, but the down pipe didn't go. I had to relocate my ac drier, saw an ear off my tko, and beat the :poo:e out of a floorboard to get it in. Also the 4" race core intercooler required me to cut out a lot of the fiberglass bumper and almost all of the lowerbumper cover where the air inlet is. Definitely use the standard intercooler, as they don't warn you about fitment of the large cooler in an lx. You get what you pay for, for sure.

Wow im sorry to hear is this an LX I had a GT I had no and I mean no fitment issues with the downpipe at all AND yes my car had working AC still...nothing was cut on my bumper to fit the intercooler either I did hear the LX needed trimming...but there were a few guys that had a nice write up on how to fit the intercooler in an LX and they looked good...I agree there clamps are not great I used race parts solutions clamps...

I haven't seen a single good pic of your jack stands. I hope they're nice. :)

Allen! Quit yer whining. It has been pointed out enough to be a sticky, (maybe more than an explorer swap) that you can pay someone to install an on3 kit in your '85 without issue and make 500hp and never ever ever ever ever ever ever have a problem. I don't see what the big deal is.

Lol... you're right. What was I thinking? My arguement must be invalid because I didn't pay to have the work done..

Ooops... First off:

Those are some damned fine jack stands. Great job. :nice:
