so?....whats next...lol
Pull upper intake . Re torque heads like nick suggested . Change the oil . Make sure I don't have a loose rocker or exhaust leak . Swap injectors and meter for the 60s and prob go to the dyno .

So the other day I never mentioned cuz I wanted to check it out I heard a tapping . Sure enough I had a rocker back off . Re adjusted it today . Then adressed my belt that I tore a rib off of . After that was done I Re torqued heads per nicks recommendation . Drained oil . Put in the brad penn. fired the bitch up and no more tap ! So if the weather clears up I may try and put some miles on it . Few small things like a vac hose to replace . An inner tie rod and that's prob it . Then tune time

Small update. Took the car for a ride pretty humid out car ran like 184-190 which i am cool with considering the sweat running down my face is an indication of the humidity. Put 15 bucks in it . Cruised maybe a mile or 2 possibly 3. AFR is decent 13.6-15.2 and usually hovering right in the 14.2-14.6 Car felt like it was breaking up a little bit at part throttle cruise but nothing serious it cleared up. Got it through 1-4 no boost obviously but brought it to around 2500-3200 rpm engine is nice and smooth not like before.

The down shifts or coming off the pedal it wants to stall. Only issues i had was i smelt a burning smell which may just be the Remanence of the zip tie end that melted on the header. But i am going to go over everything to be sure because last year i had the alt nut back off and the stud melt to a crisp. Need to get some quarter inch vac line for the regulator. Have a small oil leak at the blower return. Want to just go over the exhaust hardware and trans mounts once over again. I may give it another small ride after all this . If all is well and i keep getting more confident in it being ready- Ill swap injectors and meter and make my apt with all out and let him have at it with the car.

The stalling on downshifts may be as simple as the idle being too low, i used to have to have it set at 900-1000rpm to get it to not do that. the new setup can idle 750-850 without skipping a beat.
I agree but the idle is already and has always been around 900-950 . There is a lot more going on with this motor and the cam specs are a bit wilder then the tfs1 that was originally in this thing . It's deff going for the tune as soon as I finish ironing out the other small stuff

Vss hooked up correctly? That came up with someone else recently. Maybe @RacEoHolic330
Vss goes into the speedo gear like it always has but I didn't think it played a part in this esp with the stock ecu and a Pms . I thought it was there mainly for the cruise control function . I could be wrong . I know that is an issue on coyote swaps as I dealt with it on my buddies

I just reread your original post and misunderstood. I don't think it's the VSS. It plays a role in keeping the vehicle from stalling when you are coming to a stop
Me neither I know sometimes I type so fast to get an update in before work or something sometimes it can be mis interpreted . Either way I think I am close I just need some time to go over the car again and make sure all is well .

Did you have any clearance problems with those Ford racing valve covers? I bought some Panhandle Performance valve covers from someone on a Facebook page and they clear the rockers but they're too tall and I'd need an inch or inch and a quarter spacer, but I'd rather just get valve covers that fit right lol.

I had the intake on the car with those with no spacer and it just rested on the driver side but fit . Now it has a 3/8 spacer and fits no issue. I also have the mc machine throttle cable bracket which I highly recommend

Does the mc machine throttle cable bracket have a lower profile? Thats where the issue was on mine.
