Post pics of how your foxbody currently sits

How much pita for those hood latches?
A few quick pics of setting up the AeroCatch hood pins.
First off I had to set a weight in the center of the hood to get it to sit flat on the sides, must have gotten a bow in it from sitting or shipping or whatnot. It is a Harwood Carbon Fiber 6" cowl obviously.

Then after installing pins It was just a matter of measuring 14 ways from Sunday and transferring those measurements to the hood

And then cutting the holes after marking the center of the pin location and using a template provided with the latches.

Awesome! Clean, well put together beast! However, I'll bet you take heat from the occasional Saleen "purist" nuts! LOL
Yeah, some folks don't get it. But think about it, what is a Saleen besides a modified Mustang? All I have done is modify a Saleen. And 1989 had the highest production numbers I believe. Now if it was a 91' Saleen that they only built like 19 of or something ridiculous like that, then yes I would expect more flack. Plus it is pretty much a given that we build what we have, which explains a lot of "odd" drag cars at the strip that people go WTF was he thinking when he decided to build a race car...........well, it was what they had at the time.

Yeah I get it! I used to get flack when I owned my SSC. It was my SSC so modded it how I liked. I occasionally attended Saleen Club shows and events . Most everyone would make nice comments saying that Steve Saleen should have done it that way. Then there were those that would run their mouth's. Blah-blah-blah.
I didn't care because my SSC was a huge success. Back in March '07 it was featured in Modified Mustangs Magazine. Had a 5 page centerfold spread and was also on the cover. And, for a few years there it was in the Vortech supercharger catalog selling Vortech superchargers. In nine years of car shows I attended, it was undefeated in it's class. Not many Saleen purist's can say all that about their boring, slow, stock low mile cars. LOL

Like I said, your car is awesome and I'd like to go fo a wide! LOL

Whats your take on the SSI intake/ how does it perform?
I read reviews for both BBK and Trick Flow. I went with the SSI simply because it looked cooler. :) The install is a pain but it is doable. Make sure all the fuel rails, cross tube rubber rings are installed correct. They even sent a few do dads that didn't even go with that kit so that was confusing but the owner guy or whoever it was that responded and helped me with some questions at BBK got mad at the shipping guys about it. :) Performance wise it works great as far as I can tell. I have other issues holding my car back that I am currently hoping to solve with a american muscle BAMA eliminator custom tune chip. BTW dealing with them has been a complete and total !%@#$ing 3 month long NIGHTMARE that is ongoing. I will be doing a very nice post and video about them when its over! Stay tuned for that.

My stang made a transformation recently... It went from:

20150401_190816.jpg
20150406_200726.jpg
Now it is in its transformation form and now looks like this:

20150714_182235.jpg
20150714_184205.jpg

Enjoy.. I cant wait to I install all the new moldings/interior/carpet and everything to make it new again including the new screw kit i purchased..
