I am just beginning but I want to bore a 351w out to a 427 and put it in my 99 v6. Suggestions are needed and money and time is no option, if it takes for ever ok.

I thought a lot about doing a push rod new edge swap. Doesn't seem too hard. K member ... 94- 95 tremec ...longer bell housing and input shaft. Wiring harness would have to be swapped in. I thought about it a lot and it's do able. I stopped at getting the speedometer and factory guages to work. A 351 and trans are basically a drop in...the electrical stuff is where the time and money come in. I'd love to see it done.

If money is no option then why are you going with an outdated pushrod motor? It will be less of a hassle (not exactly cheaper) to swap in a 4.6 4V or Coyote and you'll have much better performance. There's a reason why nobody does swaps on these cars like what you're wanting

Think of this though if I do it right in the long run there would be more torque and horse as well as I could basically produce a cobra jet motor, less weight than the original as well as if I just wanted the 4.6 just go buy the car with it in it right?
