Post Pics Of How Your Classic Mustang Currently Sits

Take it !Take it ! Take it ! never turn down a free horse . The color code Z in my chart shows as chantilly beige, but it shows the code Z as being for a 64 1/2 . Look at the radiator support in front of the battery ,does it have large louvers ? Only a 64 1/2 has these louvers . I noticed the instrument cluster is a 66 full gauge cluster and the glove box door is a 66 but that was probably changed ,but the door may have been changed at one time and with it the door tag.

Since it's a '66 VIN along with all of the other '66 interior stuff, I'm leaning toward it being 99% original with a repaint sometime in its past. The Z color code shows as sauterne gold on color charts for '66 that I've seen online. You can see some paint chips around the data plate as well as other places on the car with the original paint showing through. I've googled a few images of the color and I really like it.

I didn't get a chance to lift the hood. That's a metal filing cabinet on the hood that was too heavy to move by myself. I can't wait to get back and start digging it out. :D
