hello all. long time wrencher, but first time mustang owner. just purchased 2005 base v-6. automatic. I appreciate any advice. at purchase the car had malfunctioning gauges. after research, decided that it was possibly stepper issues. so I sent it out for rebuild, plus led upgrade. (not switchable just blue). unit came back and all gauges work great now, but the lights only work when the light switch is in off position. as soon as it is turned to park or headlights, they go off. all other control and dash lights work fine.
rebuilder says that it cant be his work, probably a computer glitch from removing the cluster. tried battery cable removal reset, and obd port clearing, checked all fuses by right kick panel. any insight greatly appreciated.
