It's that time for mods fellas and have a few items on the list. Looking at getting a ONE PIECE Headlight for my 95 and also wanting to probably go with a set of Projector halo foglights. I have to get a body shop to construct a bracket for the fog lamps so they will not have to be mounted in my bumper as they are now. I have a Saleen front by the way. So looking at for headlights, either projector, LED, or HID. Looking at some at American Muscle now and for the Raxiom Chromes some reviews are saying that the low beams aren't that great on low lighting roads. Just trying to get you guys ideas and thoughts on the matter and maybe you installed some and heard better things about others and maybe wished you went with something else.

Morimoto HID conversion..... Barely even noticable but the results are well worth the work!

He has the after market 3 piece head lights. You need the head light seal/trim kit or you could just get the once piece head lights and then do the HID retrofit kit.
yes a guy from modded mustangs laid out a pretty good idea/suggestion from me. When i get time I'm going to review all of the links

OEM.

All these new headlight designs trying to jam 2015 LED into dated halogen headlights looks silly. I'd rather see a clean car with OEM headlights over something with aftermarket HID/LED/etc in it.

I've seen some clean HID conversions using the OEM housings however. But most aftermarket HID housings incorportate some sort of spaceship looking LED array that looks silly, especially on a 20+ year old Mustang

One thing I've learned over the years, is do it right the first time. Just take the time to do as much research and do your homework so you can at least live with the decision you end up making. I have heard enough negative stuff about the HId and Led stuff that I might just keep what I have for now , maybe change the bulbs to a blue tint led and see how I like it. Right now I have the Apc i believe, cobra clears with clear corners.

Did find a link to a place called theretrofitsource.com
want to give them a call and see what they advise

What I have is the Morimoto Mini H1 6.0 bought from TheRetrofitSource dot com @FoxMustangLvr . This is no cheesy setup that was jammed into a set of halogens. A lot of work went into unsealing, trimming, and installing these projectors into the set of headlights. These lights shine like a new cars lights and will out perform any set of Aftermarket headlights that you buy.It is not caulk surrounding the headlight, @from6to8 it is the stock trim piece. I wanted them to be discreet as possible so I modified a couple of parts to my liking. I had no negative affects with my kit and best of all, I can see NO PROBLEMS at night now. I couldn't say the same for my 25 year old headlight design. My safety is key so why not use the technology if it is here?!

looks great man. I haven't called them yet but will tomorrow. See I'm not going to want to do any mods after I get whatever I need from them so all of that will have to be discussed prior to me making a decision on getting from them or what. that's also why I want some good fog lamps to help out my headlights just in case I don't go the route you went.

What was the cost for them to do what they did for you and what all did they do?

I just bought the Morimoto HID Retrofit kit that came with both projectors and its hardware and their HIDS which also came with their own hardware. All else I bought on my own and put together @from6to8
ok. Talked to a friend yesterday and I'm probably just going to try his idea first and if it doesn't work the most I i will be out of is about 30 bucks then will proceed with option 2. With all of what I've learned over past few weeks, I just have to try and see what makes me most happy for the dollar
