i am In the process of installing the interior in my 69 mustang. I have a non folding rear seat. I understand that the hinged mounts bolt to the floor fixtures. But I am confused on how the back attaches to the fixtures on the inner wheel housings. The holes on the seat back that align with the wheel housing fixtures are about 1/2 inch in diameter with no apparent way to attach. Is ther special hardware that I am missing.

There should be two brackets ,one for each side .They bolt to the wheel tub and then to the seat back .I can/t remember exactly what they look like but i should have a set of them here somewhere .The seat back just bolts through the hinge in the bottom of the seat back to the floor bracket .

These are the holes in the seat back that attach to the wheel tubs. You say there should be brackets that attach to here. There are no threads or other attaching parts.

I know i have one for sure ,i will look for the other side .I may not have the bolts though except for the one side .The bolts are 1/4 inch philip head with a washer under the head and the nut .

My computer crashed last night and i had a heck of a time getting it booted this morning ,I don't know how much longer it will last .I have a new system but it will take a while to get it going ,just encase i don't reply again.
