V3 Almost!

Hopefully it doesn't cost you another G for a couple pulls this time. Cost around my area is $150 - $300 depending on what you do. 3 pulls only is $150. Pulls with modifications like installing a chip or removing FMU or installing injectors the labor gets you to $350(not including parts cost).

I need a chip and new MAF, I was quoted $500ish to do all of this parts included.

I will install injectors myself.
i phoned around talked to another "supposedly" good tuner....id have to start again with him and it will be a g at least he said!.....or,free to re tune with the other tuner same company as before!.....
talked to the manager and "if"i went with them i asked for the other guy to do it.....money is tight now but im still thinking im gona start again with the other guy,but i dont trust anyone at this point anymore!....lol

Make sure you're extremely clear with the guy, have a 6 year old write it down for him if it helps with getting a SAFE tune and get it up to operating temp this time!!

Good luck man, you're do some!

They have TWO tuners at the same place? Thats new to me. Use the other guy there but hang out like a hawk the whole time and ask the manager to review as well before you leave. You have a right to be firm at this point.

The 1011-1 is .041 compressed
9333pt1 is .047 compressed .

As far as figuring it out there's a lot of math that goes into it

well guys im in trouble here, they did another free tune on my car,one good thing is my head gasket didnt blow....so i put the new gasket in,my cylinder pressure went from 185psi to 160psi,they ran it,with the 347 vortec pulley it saw 9 psi on their dyno?.....anyway,here are the results, they say that with my set up they cant make it work, its runs too hot?,compression is too high?,all the stuff i asked them before about!,so i paid a G to blow and change a head gasket, intake gaskets twice, tows, fluids and a lot of my time and head aches, and in the end they tell me to change my whole set up!.....i cant beleive these guys!

With that they said my car was safe to drive,at this point i didnt care about the hp,but as soon as i drove it away it was pure detonation from 1psi to 6psi,thats as high as i saw, then when i went back they said that it wont work with my set up!

So new tuner here i come and a meth kit.....not sure if i should lower compression more or not?,the other tuner i talked to said i should be fine but recomended to reserface my heads and run a mls gasket as well!??.....idk what to do!,my car is parked now with a sc installed!

For the $ you have spent, you would have been better off going with a Fast XFI or Holley engine management system. You would be done. You would know more about tuning and be making more power.
