I got the aprons temporarily in place with screws and clamps. I took some pictures and to me it looks like it is square. I was wondering if anyone else has measurements of a 65 coupe with the engine out? Also what are the measurements of the frame rails? Mine are 32 1/2"...

here is the frame rail pictures. this is right in front of the radiator support and above the cross member... i dont think that my rails can go in any farther because it is touching the radiator support...

You probably already have, but make sure you put the doors, fenders and hood on to see if they are aligned correctly. If not you may need to adjust the frame rails since you had posted earlier that you had moved them some. That will beone of the ways to know if you have all the supporting sheet metal in the correct spot.

The best way to measure the frame rails is between the rails ,and that is 27 5/8 .

The Front of the radiator support should be measured from the top edge of the cowl from this body line to the front of the radiator support and that is 44 3/8 .

The radiator support is pretty much self centering in between the frame rails ,align the front apron holes with the holes in the radiator support and you should be good to go .
