V3 Almost!

Well i tried to lower the boost,i was told the 344 pulley would give me 5-7 psi but it still hit 10psi....im putting the biggest pulley they have on next, and bigger injectors,my goal was 450ish,and from the start everyone said id be fine up too 500rwhp.....im almost ready to scrap the whole sc idea at this point!!....
It's worth it in the end trust me .

rough guesstimates say that going from the .047" 9333's to a .060" with the same bore would lower the cr by about .3. assuming a flat top piston (not sure exactly what you have), and a .006" deck on a stock 58cc afr185, it'll put you at ~9.8:1. they may or may not clean up at that though.

conversely, going to a 70cc vic jr. with the 9333's will be at about 8.7:1. this will be able to handle more boost, and looks like flow numbers are similar-to-or-better than the 185's.

either way looks like it may be pushing the limits of the stock roller block.

Good info....i want to try for 450-475rwhp.....or im setting my rev to 4500 by the way your making it sound....lol..

Well id wrather not spend more money...but if i have to i will

Ill have to get new lifters and stuff though right?...thats prob out of my league??
only thing you MIGHT need on that particular head swap would be pushrods. i say MIGHT because you'll have to measure and since both heads are a "stock valve angle" head, you MIGHT luck out and be able to use the ones you have. comp/tfs hardened pushrods are only ~$100-120 though.

I say first see what's up wit the heads mang. I'm not a big fan of the cometic gaskets but if that's what the man says to do, do it! Obviously he knows his :poo:. I'm sure those heads will sell quickly if you decide to go that route.

Ya i meant pushrods....i just learned how to adjust valves last time around...lol....the measuring part is what scares me?....think i know the basics but havnt done too much reading about that yet,so its somthing ill have to learn on the fly...and i dont want anymore problems...lol....not a 100% what im going to do just yet

Heads im dropping of fri for a minimum deck,he told me ill get them back by tues wed next week,so if i keep those heads, ill run a .060" cometic gasket, try to keep my boost down with biggest pulley i can find, and hopfuly tuner can keep it around 450-475rwhp,and rev limeter set to somthing safe!...geting the heads prepped for cometics but block not sure yet, didnt seem too bad, might try the copper spray???

Not working

So for cometic gaskets the deck surface needs to be laser straight and a different RA than for regular HG. Are you pulling the block and having the deck surfaced?
I was going to try the copper spray route?....some ppl say I'll be fine some no??,wanted to try that first, but I really don't know what to do now...:(....new heads is my best bet but more$$$$
