Hello everyone i been talkig to alot of friends of friends and they all say to join some fourms to learn more so here i am. I have a 2012 mustang gt and a 04 mustang gt ( buddy drives and is currently making payments on it, everything is in my name) im looking to beat the srt8 then eventually beating the hellcat in about 2-3 years i was looking at getting the boss 302 intake my main thing is i dont want to get rid of my warranty or break the bank, this is all for the 2012 the main thing i like to do is race the ricers and stuff like that. Also if u have anything for my 04 mustag gt id b very happy with any info on that as well

Welcome. You are going to have a hard time beating the higher powered cars if you don't want to affect your warranty. To take advantage of most engine performance mods, you are going to need a tune which will void your warranty at most dealerships. FYI, the main advantage of the boss intake is the ability to push the engine to higher rpm without choking. To take advantage of that, you need a tune to push up your redline. It won't provide a ton of additional power without more mods, and you will actually lose a little torque down low. The main things you can probably do without affecting the warranty are catback or axleback exhaust, gears (which will require a tuner for calibration), tires, and maybe some suspension work. You should post your questions over in the S197 section to get some more feedback. You can also read through existing threads to see how others are setup and what their experiences were.

That being said, a good suspension and tire setup will go a long way towards putting the power you have down and will reduce your 1/4 mile ET.
