No problem guys . No one has any other opinion on my brain Storm ? To do or not to do it ?

Still gonna be a full street car I kind of just want it to be consistent when I do run it and cruising where I live the stick does get aggravating at times . I do love it when it's all open road though .

Yeah it's a 555r . I was shocked . It's got team z street beast lowers , team z drag spring , hpm heim joint uppers with upr heim joints in the rear . Strange 10 ways front and rear . Just regular eibach lowering springs up front . Both sway bars still in .

If banging gears in an H pattern and using a clutch doesn't get your rocks off then go for it man. As for me, I love spirited back road driving with a manual transmission.

Freddy brown aod is basically nothing like an aod . There's a true street car that has driven half way across the country and raced all weekend with one and drove home . 8 sec passes

You know what brother, if you really want to do it, then why not?

It would be interesting to see what it does to your track times.

Plus, an automatic if you are in the city! Your left leg will be grateful for that alone.

Give it a go and tell us what you think.

I'm thinking about it . Giving it a go is about a 4,000 $ decision . I'm not New York City where it's bumper to bumper but sometimes it gets aggravating .

Pricey, sure. If you can afford it though, why not.

I bring up NYC since you might want to drive in there sometime.

Again at the track, consistency is a good thing. Less to think about when your at the lights, with practice, you're bound to get quicker times.

Without a doubt. Should've been more clear im in nyc . Just not Manhattan lol . It's bridge ride away - we've been talking about doing a time square run to grab pics of our cars there .

We'll see I'm gonna run it the rest of the year either way like this and get a good tire on it . I don't mind wheeling it at the track but I do want consistency and I do want to eventually then the wick up power wise some more .

FB makes an amazing AOD but $4k is pricry. Have you contacted Dan at Silverfox? I'm running one of his valve bodies and couldnt be happier.

Off the top of my head you will need

  • Swap pedals
  • AOD cross member
  • Flexplate and bolts
  • Trans cooler
  • cooler lines
  • TV cable
  • jumper the NSS switch from the clutch cable
  • A9P computer
  • AOD engine harness from same year for O2 sensors
