Yup. Trailering down solo.

I'm confident that "excessive ball sweat" will be a recurring theme in both of our notes.
Well, except I drove mine,...... My ball sweat started the minute I set out.

Amount of sweat coming off of balls:

You'll have a good time. It's a GIANT venue. The fact that you have no family to worry about will make a big difference, considering that the place is covered up with Mustangs, and about 3000-5000 young males.

When I went there, S197 was the "new" car still, see how many of those "look what I haves" dominate the attendance. Now that the're getting to be affordable as project cars, I'll bet they're gonna be like roaches..
The reason I say this is, (as we all know) Mustang is a 50 year old format now. It amazes me that in a gathering of those cars, the dominant vehicle that shows up is the one that's only been in production since 2005.
And before anybody starts to point out the obvious,......(Young males = newer cars)
I'm here to say I don't care.

What hotel are you staying at? (waiting.........)

You hit the nail on the head with the S197 cars, not just at MW, but at every show I've been to this year. They come in droves and flood the showfield. After a while, they all start looking the same to me. I like those cars, don't get me wrong, but I think it's cute that their owners consider valve stem caps to be a modification worthy of being on a show board.

I'm staying at the Surburban Hotel at 501 & 17. The price was right and they allow trailers.

I was expecting you to stay at the Holiday Sands.....(supporting hotel for the event)

The place is the single closest thing that you can get that closely resembles an original Motel 6 still needing a remodel..... Sorry you had to miss that.

So, I'm a little impatient.

You will post here if you get into the judging, right?

I'd be there more to pimp one of the magazines into a feature if it was me, (or in Scott's case) cover article,....who cares about a gay-la-faire shiny plastic trophy w/ a disproportionate 69 mustang sitting on top......?.

Very cool Scott!

Soooo, you got water on your car yesterday..........

We're not going to talk about that, Dave. This rolled in and there was no escaping it.

We were waiting at a gas station for a while and then just decided to leave. Rounded the corner and saw Jeff @TOOLOW91 and his buddies were there hiding under the other side of the gas station. I pulled underneath and hung with them for a while, but the storm never passed. We headed out and drove through that garbage for a good 15 minutes. I also bottomed out the car pulling out of the gas station. Not a fun time.

Scott, I can't imagine how bad that would suck. Everything ok? Bottomed out, I'd have been crying myself.

I didn't get a good look under the car yet, but the k member wasn't scratched, so I think it was just the exhaust.
Oh yeah.....just.....the......exhaust.....:cry::cry:.

I don't know if I'm ready for more info.

I guess it's time I told you the truth Scott.......I'm in love with your car:eek:. Her pain is my pain.

I am one of those young males with an S197. Even with a pretty lengthy mod list, I still dont really consider it a show car. My idea of a show car is something older you no longer see every day, either restored or kept in nice original condition. But you know how we are these days, participation trophies and stuff. We all deserve them!!!

PS, where are the pics, Scott? Waiting until you get home or what???
