I had not planned on putting the Mustang II on a rotisserie but the more I thought about it I could not just leave the undercarriage looking like this. Brian and I (mostly Brian) fit it on the rotisserie yesterday.
Yesterday I sprayed 3 coats of SPI orange waiting 45 min between coats and today I sprayed 3 coats of SPI Universal clear waiting 30 min between coats.
Yesterday before Brian went home he got the body ready for paint. Finished taping, moved it in the booth and wiped it down with SPI wax and grease remover.
I got up early and was at the shop at 5:30 and mixed up a cup of reduced SPI white epoxy and sprayed a sealer coat. Around 9 I will start spraying orange.
It is hard to get the true color. In the booth it's to light and outside looks red. It is somewhere in between. Brian has been wet sanding the body and should start buffing soon.
