hello I have a 97 mustang 4.6 V8 i just changed one of my ignition coils and all spark plugs and ignition wires because of a misfire in the first cylinder. all of a sudden it just randomly stalled out on me on the off ramp of the highway going up hill. There are is no check engine light and it runs fine until im uphill on the off ramp. the car has roughly 180,000 miles on it and have done regular oil changes.
it came with a cold air intake when i bought it and dont know if there are any other modifications done to it

ALWAYS start trouble shooting by looking at the battery, battery cables, and alternator.

Are the battery terminals clean and tight? Does the battery hold a charge? Has the alternator been tested? No excuse to skip this step as almost all auto parts stores will do it for free.

Don't make the mistake of thinking that your problem couldn't be something as simple as a bad battery, loose cable or bad alternator.

Bottom line. Today's cars simply will not run right without a strong battery and charging system.
