First time: poster, Sup Ya'll

Looking for some technical help & I've read a lot of fixes for our cars & also too much info that was not directly related. I have a 2001 GT & the A/C doesn't blow cold air any longer. I've always charged my vehicles by the add some, check the temp approach (Old School Guy Here). A couple of weeks ago my A/C just stopped working after weeks after charging it, I did use the newer method of the A/C in a can with the gauge which worked great from the old school approach. Listed below is the issue:

-A/C all of a sudden stopped blowing cold
-Fan does not come on when a/c is engaged
-Clutch does not come on at all

*Heater works like a champ.. haha

What are my checks guys, how do I fix this issue without going to the shop! I'm mechanically inclined and have done a lot of work to my car since 01.. still has 97k miles on it..

Thanks for any input ya'll.

Confirm fuse F2.24 and F2.23 in the central junction box are good.

Set the AC mode control to AC. Test for key on power to the AC low pressure cycling switch (VT) using a known good ground. Where to look next depends upon the test result.

IF no voltage, the problem is upstream such as the function selector switch, fuse F2.23 or wiring.

IF there is voltage, then more tests are needed.

It's been a while, and I'm going off of memory here, but power comes off the breaker, through the control panel, to the low pressure switch, the high pressure switch, the CCRM, the compressor/clutch then onto ground. Like WMBurns said, check for voltage down the line. If no meter, disconnect the switches one at a time and install a jumper. I had the same issue a few years ago. While troubleshooting it I found that I had voltage up to the CCRM. Verified that the wiring from the CCRM through the compressor and ground were good. If the issue is in the CCRM it could be the relay itself, or possibly the circuit that energizes the relay. I want to say that it's a normally closed relay and the whole purpose of it is to energize the relay, open the contacts, and shut off the compressor when you go WOT. I used a motorcycle battery and verified that the contacts were open all the time, proving the relay was bad. I rewired it to bypass the relay and ran it like that for years. If it is the relay and you can solder, you can open up the CCRM and replace the relay yourself. It's like $5 at radio shack. During my last engine swap, I fixed the wiring and replaced the relay. Never got to actually check it though because I decided to scrap the whole a/c system.

You don't need AC, do a delete kit get more power and just roll the window down for fresh air. A/C takes power away. Lol if you ac drops below so many psi it will keep the clutch from kicking in, just jump the switch and start to refill
