    Stripes Removed & Tinted

Just mask and do the plastidip thing then stand back and see if you like the combo. If so, go for paint, if on the fence, wait a few days until you decide.

What size rims are you considering? Have you considered Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's or Nitto NT01's?

Wheels-Tires What Are The Widest 20" Front Tires

I'm going with Nitto NT01's and 285/35ZR20 is my only real option. I hope it ends up working If I could tweak the offset or backspacing a few mm I should be fine. Just hunting for wheels that fit.

Wheels-Tires What Are The Widest 20" Front Tires

I'm surprised at the number of wheels I'm interested in that don't have 20x9.5 and 20x10 to fit a Mustang. I might just get a pair of 20x10 wheels and tires and see if they fit up front.

Wheels-Tires What Are The Widest 20" Front Tires

Thanks Boss. Not sure how I missed that. I'm looking at Nitto NT01's and 285/35zr20 is the only real option for out front. Thanks Silver for the great info. Maybe I can find some wheels with a hair more backspacing or offset. Damn those huge pp brakes. If I could fit 18's for track days...

Any thoughts on 285/35-20's fitting on 20x10's with stock ride height?

Is The 2015 Mustang Gt Too Heavy?

I have to agree with 84Ttop. First two track days and amazed that my 2015 GT with PP felt very well balanced. No under or oversteer. Confidence inspiring to say the least. Those 6 piston brakes are amazing. No issue shutting down from 100 to 30 over and over.

Two days and 50 or so miles of road course lapping with no sign of fading in the brakes. Lots of hard braking from 90+. All I can say is my PP 2015 GT never failed me and was a joy to drive hard around the track. I don't see any reason to worry about the fluid. Temps ranged from 50 to 80.

Is The 2015 Mustang Gt Too Heavy?

It is what it is. I'm not inclined to say it feels heavy. Coming from a Fox body it's obviously heavier but way and I mean WAY more refined. If your wanting one, don't worry about it. Just test drive it again and decide if it fees right, buy it and enjoy. I sure do!

That's good to hear. I'll be doing some track days and report back if I feel the fluid does not hold up on mine.

Progress Thread Project 2015 Gt: Waiting For New Go Fast Parts

I hear Fords fluid is good to 500 deg dry boiling. With your 4 piston brakes you may want to upgrade to Motul RBF600 which has 596 deg. I have the pp 6 piston brakes and am wondering if they will be ok with the stock fluid since they should put less stress on the fluid. I'm not an expert...

You still running the stock brake fluid in those factory brakes?

2015 Mustang Catches Fire, Ford Refuses To Help

Unless we start seeing others making sparks from the same place, I find it hard to call it a manufacturing defect. He mentioned trouble with seat covers. I bet someone messing with that loosened a connector or nicked a wire.

    2015 Gt With 3.73's 0-60 Difference?

That's not too bad. I know it's kind of silly to want a performance car to get good mileage. I just can't stop myself from trying to hypermile everything I drive.

    2015 Gt With 3.73's 0-60 Difference?

I wonder how much of a ding you take in MPG with the 3.73's. I like to save the power for rare times I punch it. Would like the PP for the rare times I track it, but would love to stay with the taller gear to improve mileage for all the other times I am just commuting.

Anybody Think The New Mustang Looks Ugly?

I have looked at a new 2015 GT sitting next to a pair of 2014 GT's. I like them both. The interior of the 2015 is a lot nicer in my opinion. There are always people that don't like change. I for one like this new model.

Anybody Think The New Mustang Looks Ugly?

I think it looks great, just sad to hear it weighs more than the 2014. Wont stop me from buying a new one though. Might be next summer though. I'm selling my trusty 90 and this will be the first time I have been without a mustang since 1978. Just think I would like to see the first few builds...

Anybody Think The New Mustang Looks Ugly?

I've been driving my '90 since I bought it new. When the 11's were announced I started looking hard. Shortly after that, the rumored 50th anniversary redesign was rumored so I decided to wait. Now it's here and I like it. Can't wait to see pricing and options. I think after 25 years, this will...

Oh yeah.... It's so cool seeing a nearly stock GT pull a front wheel up on launch. It's time to start saving up for an upgrade.
