    Performance Loss With Loudmouth?

The other point that I was trying to make and left out was you need to look at the difference in csa because looking pipe diameter will not give you the correct increase in area or change in velocity. ► 3 / 2.25 = 1.333333333333333 Also so no one is confused you have the sizes reversed...

    Performance Loss With Loudmouth?

The pipe numbers are for the outside diameter, but since I do not know the wall thickness I will use 2.25" and 3" ► (2.25/2)^2*pi = 3.976078202199582 sq inches csa ► (3.00/2)^2*pi = 7.068583470577035 sq inches csa ► 7.068583470577035/3.976078202199582 = 1.777777777777778 increase in csa...

    Clutch Cable Identification

I have a 2000 GT 5 speed. I am the 3rd owner and have had the car for almost 6 years. The clutch will not disengage so I started to check it out and find the plastic/rubber covering on the cable is split and going in one direction and the inter metal housing in the another direction. A little...

aluminum Flywheel/ Driveshaft dyno results Video & dyno sheet inside!

In a fixed RPM test the flywheel and drive shaft should neither add nor remove any HP. In a acceleration test the lighter parts will take less energy / HP to accelerate and this should show. The faster the rate of accelerate the more it will show up.

Went to the Strip. Trap Speed dropped

You do understand what effect weather has on the HP output of an engine? BP = 29.92 Temp = 47 Humidity = 5% DA = -775 BP = 29.42 Temp = 69 Humidity = 85% DA = 1500 That is a difference of 2275 feet DA or about 6.5-7% less HP

    HP guesstimate...

A stock motor with a 100 HP shot will produce torque of over 425 @ 4000 RPM. The lower the RPM you spray at the higher the max torque.

please help..why are my HP numbers so low

377 Nm = 278.06 lb.-ft @ 3516 RPM = 186.15 HP 366.6 Nm = 270.39 lb.-ft @ 3550 RPM = 182 .77 These HP number look like what is on the graph Again On what dyno did you get these numbers? Are these corrected or uncorrected numbers? What was your air fuel ratio throughout the test?
