Got confirmation from the inspector today. Non OBD II vehicles require a visual inspection to ensure that all OE emissions systems are intact and functioning. Then I talked to a neighbor. He said it'd worth a shot to get the exhaust done, take it in and see if they pop the hood.

It's some wierd amalgamation of both. It's run by the state, but they have an exclusive contract with a 3rd party company. There's an office right by work. I think I'll run over there this week and ask.

On a vehicle this old, I'm told it's both. On OBD II cars where they can just plug in they just sniff it and use the computer. Because OBD I they do a physical inspection also. But I do need to reach out to the inspection people and find out for sure.

The VA registration was cancelled when I changed the address on my insurance. So technically it's no longer valid. I thought about that. But CO is a stickler on out of state plates.

That's my question. How high do you sit? Because my 01 GT seats are a lot higher than the OE seats. Of course it's nice to finally have a power seat, but they're just not as comfortable. In retrospect, I should have recovered the OE seats in leather.
