    2010 1/4 mile times!

yea. you need to get some more practice. hell i was clicking off 13.60's@101 with 2.0 60' in my 03GT with a tune and catback as mods..i dont see why we wont see people in the 13.20 range in the 2010's with some practice.

*video* Bone stock 2010 GT-500 runs [email protected]

yea i think the tires/drivers are the biggest issue..trapping 116-120 is enough speed to run well into the 11's, just gotta get them off the line.

decent times, but seems a little slow given the mods and tires... i ran 13.60 with a 2.0 60' with a mac catback and a tune as my only mods, was on stock goodyear tires... i eventually got it to 13.40's with intake/plenum, tune, prochamber, catback, UDP's and BFG gforce sports running 1.9x 60's...

    Dyno results...

yea, off bottle numbers are great, on bottle seems low.. for comparison i made 253/296 off bottle and 376/412 on a compucar 125 shot, untuned with no bottle heater...

Motive or FRPP 8.8 Rebuild Kit

i say get the motive kit and get the clutch's from the dealer. also, why are you doing upper CA's and not lowers? it is good that you are doing some worthwhile maint. and you'll certainly love the 3.73's and fresh rear build.

First Road Test 2010 GT500 (Motor Trend Article)

haha, it should read - "traction limited due to lack of driving skill" 118 is a healthy trap speed, should see high 11's out of them without much trouble.

    What am I doing wrong?

stock goodyear 245s best 60- 2.01 275 BFG gforce sports at 27psi 1.96 315 BFG drag radials at 25psi- 1.87- launching with n20, rolling it out about 10' getting some spin

    What am I doing wrong?

dang. the 1/8th tracks here in chucktown are pretty lax, you can click off 7's all day long with no helmet, but the minute you put any kind of slick(even ET streets) they go apeturds and make you have a head condom on. edit- looks like the pressure is way too high, should have more wrinkle in...

    What am I doing wrong?

start by going to 15psi and also play around with the revs at launch, start at 2500 and go from there..you should be able to pull 1.7 easy, i pull 1.9 on street tires without much issue..

Review: Challenger R/T vs Camaro vs Mustang GT (Face off Link)

lets wait till the stang gets the 5.0 in it and see who turns better numbers...also, since the SS is the "top end" of the camaro, shouldnt it be up against the top end mustang as well? oh wait, it doesnt look as impressive if they compare it to the GT500. 426hp looks like childsplay when matched...

    just got 3.73's!

12 pack of soda? haha. just take your time, be patient, have a 5# sledge available in case the old pinion wont come out. and dont let people here scare you. its not a hard job, just takes time. be sure to sand the housing and cover off before you re-seal it as well.

Here's the official Performance Numbers od the Camaro from Motor Trend

well, we have to take into account laws of physics...trap speed shows that it has the "potential" to be faster, however since acceleration is inversely related to mass, the more massive the object the harder it will be to get to move...the weight of the camaro will probably have more impact on...

Here's the official Performance Numbers od the Camaro from Motor Trend

Sure you may see some stock camaros run in the 12's, but the average joe isnt gonna be able to click off super fast times, and i'm also willing to bet that the factory charged GT's will be more than barely faster, i wont be suprised to see people running 12.50's with that package. another...

Here's the official Performance Numbers od the Camaro from Motor Trend

wow a whole 426hp to run a 13.0? thats not extremely impressive to me..basically what i see is that for the same $35k as an SS you can have a factory S/C gt that will blow it out of the water...and just wait until the 2011s and the new engine, it wont even be a race at that point. I also like...

    The finalized combo rundown.

how many 1000hp "street cars" are you seeing running around? i'd bet on zero. the reality is that a 1000hp car isnt gonna be that streetable...even the 100% legal veyron is spastic like a little kid on a sugar high and from what i have heard is a PITA to drive. and its a violation of FEDERAL...

    New 2010 GT500 numbers

think they improved that much with 40hp? i doubt it..ive seen many of the 05+ run the same or just a tick faster than the 03/4 terms. kind of disappointing with 110 extra hp IMO.

    Very Upset

did you follow the break-in period restrictions? CF clutches are good, but are touchy when it comes to break-in, if you dont follow it exactly how it says they will go to junk fast.
