Only the one end needs changed. I had the threaded end from the fox evap tigged on for almost free. Works flawlessly. A/C was COLD last summer. The cores and HVAC box's are COMPLETELY different internally. I tired putting the fix core in the SN95 HVAC and it was a no-go.

use steel wool. then windex to keep them shiny. I do that on my MAC tips.

Sitting static isnt going to show how a trans is going to shift. you need the gears turning, and movement of the car to let you see how it is going to shift. get the car running, make sure the clutch is adjusted right and then go for an easy drive. See how it shifts then report back! Good luck!
