Thoughts on the new CPP front suspension?

I have this kit on my ride, only issue is the ball joint that comes with the lower control arm is from a Mopar. It is a good ball joint, just a hare small so the stock mustang spindle sits alittle low on it, crushing the ball joint dust boot causing it to spew grease. I notified the engineers...

    rear speakers make me cry.

Hello all. I have rear 6x9 speakers and front round speakers in the kick panel. Problem is, you can only hear the high notes. Everything sounds great when the car is off (everything is working properly), but when its on, the engine drowns out the mids and lows, I cant turn the radio up...

    Traction bars

Ok, I used the traction master bars 2+2 uses on my 64.5 and they did work as intended, reduced (not eliminated) wheel spin and wheel hop. I have nothing against them. Weld up a bracket, install them and done. They work. I have removed them and have the Cal tracs on my 64.5 now. It is also...

    Gap Filler For Fan Shroud?

Some time ago I had the same issue with a shroud. I took a piece of 1/4" thick black nylon plastic material (had it laying around the garage... used it to cover a workbench) cut it into a strip and rivited it to the top of the shroud to fill the gap. Make sure you make a cardboard template...

Adjusting valves on 302 with hydralic lifters

This thread pisses me off because it reminds me of all the B.S I had to go threw when learning as well, and having to deal with shiesty people . But stick with it, learn from it, get better at turning a wrench and build a awsome car. Its worth it, believe me. I was in the same boat as...

    Bleeding 9"

gotcha. Ill shorten the tube and run it straight up. I have no fill hole to check the fluid levil in the diff, so that sucks. (I just habe one on the very top to add fluid, not to check it). How much fluid should these things take?

    Bleeding 9"

Hello all. I have a 9" built by Quick Performance (I called them about my problem, thay were no help) and it is leaking from the diff vent tube. I have a 4' tube clamped to the vent. The tube wraps around the axel tube, is secured to the top of the chunk, then continues down the other axel...

2000 GT Rear End into '68 Coupe?

This, as far as I know of.... is not a bolt in deal. The differentials are different. Can it be done..... heck yah... can you weld??? The question is... haw much time and patience do you have to get the project done. Most anything is possible with these old cars, you just need some skill...

Integrated power steering isuzu pitman arm

Yep its a good kit. The only bad thing is that the ball joints used on the lower arm is slightly narrower than stock, so the ball joint gets crushed to heck. I believe thay have shims now.... if not a machine shop I know of can modify your spindles.... works great. Just FYI.

    Rear Tail Light, ect......

Check to make sure your coil spring is properly seated on both ends (on the bottom side of the shock tower and on the top of the upper A arm). I believe it is normal for these old cars to squat the rear end under acceleration, thats the least of your worries.

    Rear Tail Light, ect......

Those connections that plug into the tail light bucket can be junk. I have to wiggle mine untill it works somtimes. Yours may be fine.... but try putting everything back together and rotating/ pulling in/out slightly on the tail light bucket plug. worked for me. start simple first.

    shocks?

I had gas adjusts.... hated them. I contacted Alex at Moneymaker racing and he set me up with a shock from calvert. My car is performance orientated, and these shocks are sweet. They ride better than KYB and work well. Alex knows a lot about these cars and has a Mustang that he races as...
