Vert Rockers In A Coupe - Fit Up Issues

I did check with a straight edge. Its the original rocker assy that is bowed and twisted (at least on the inside). Unless I hear otherwise I'll tack everything together and see if the door fits. If it does then I'll finish welding it. Thanks!

Vert Rockers In A Coupe - Fit Up Issues

Ok, I'm finally back working on my 66 coupe. I'm currently installing convertible rockers and I have a couple of questions. 1. The convertible rockers are taller than the existing assy. I've read a few threads on the internet and it appears that this has happened before. Any experience? Do...

Floor Removal Required To Install Convertible Inner Rocker Panels?

Since my floors stay in (as well as my current inner rockers) the process of adding the convertible rockers shouldn't put me at too much risk relative to chassis movement but I'm going to anchor the chassis with some scrap and take a bunch of measurements. Floor Removal Required To Install Convertible Inner Rocker Panels?

Killer link. Thank you! Also I just found a discussion where people bent up the lower flange instead of cutting the floor. Do you see anything wrong with that? I'll probably need to see the rocker before I understand what is possible.

Floor Removal Required To Install Convertible Inner Rocker Panels?

So, I have a rust free 1966 mustang that was an abandoned restoration project. The floors, and much of the sheet metal are new. I'm starting my project by stiffening up the chassis. So my first question. Do I have to remove the floors to install convertible inner rocker panels? I've searched...

    Colorado Barn Find

Ok, not exactly. I've always wanted to build my own slot car. I've built hot rods, VWs, Jeeps etc... and my plan was to build something based on a muscle car that would turn well and mustangs were high on the list (owned a 65 fastback in College). Didn't plan on starting another project...
