    Possible New Owner

Welcome aboard, hope the price is right, but it doesn't look too terrible actually. Myself, I never thought I would get into Mustang II's, until I came across my King. But it was in a field for 8 years,$200 bucks, and I never heard of a King Cobra at the time, so I had a feeling it was rare...

    Drivetrain Toploader Into A Mustang I I

Has anyone done this, and will it work with a mustang II bell? I tore up my Rad 4 again, and came across an old 3 speed, which could be fun. I had one on those in a Comet Gt I had. It looks like a close fit with massaging, but not sure how the input shaft length, thickness, and splines will...

    1978 302 Mustang Ii Clutch

You should be able to get the ring gear spun around, I did that with mine. As well, you need to make sure the nose cone on the starter is correct, as there are different ones. If it was loud when cranking, chances are it was close, but not quite right.

    1976 Mustang Ii Flexplate

I would almost guess, that he may have retained the II tranny and flexplate(Rebalanced) if so, You need to make sure the nose cone on your starter is matched to the II transmission. Ford did have a few variations of it, trust me, I had 5 starters before my combo would work. You just need the...

    '76 T-Top Stallion

I must admit, the orange outer ring on the grill doesn't look that bad, one would have to see if the car was redone though lol. I can't see myself doing that touch to my King lol.

Help me identify these two holes / bolts on intake manifold.

Ya, one shouldn't be lifting an engine by the intake lol. Good thing it wasn't aluminum lmao!

    '76 T-Top Stallion

FYI, I stumbled across this in Ebay going cheap, they are threatening to have it shredded, so I hope perhaps someone may step up and save her. She's a bit rough, but how many of us can say they own one of those, sadly, she only got a v-6. Here's the link...

    Rusted bolt question

I snapped a head bolt off once inside the block of an old prelude I had. That was depressing, got the car towed to a machine shop to resolve lol. But I would have tried putting some heat to the bolts btw, I guess a little too late lol!

Sounds Like a fun toy you picked up! Welcome to the world of the Mustang II, as fun and challenging as it can be at times! But there are alot of great people on here with great advice and pointers. Sometimes it's the simplest problems that are the trickiest with the II's lol! Have a good one!:nice:
