Just out of curiosity, has anyone has luck bolting in a rack and pinion from other Fords? I have a mint rack from an early '80's LTD II that was given too me, looks like a spittin image, but hard to tell without ripping the one in my car out. If it works, i'll be sure to let u know in case...

Still waiting to hear if my 4 speed is fixable, and how much. I took it to a good shop, but it's been a couple of weeks now. Part of me says screw it, and just get a 5 speed, but if this shop can save the four speed, I think for simplicity sake, may be better. any thoughts?
