    Hood shake

My 2014 Mustang GT is having hood shake and it seems to be at the cowl mostly when going between 70-80 mph. From what I can tell it seems to be a common problem…has anyone had this problem and fixed it? I tried adjusting my hood bump stops and that didn’t work, my next plan of attack is to just...

2014 Mustang GT with leaking fuel line

I was pulling out of a parking lot couple days ago and scraped the undercarriage pretty good and while I’ve done that before without incident, I didn’t think anything of it until I got home and noticed a gas smell when I was getting out of the car. I started the car again, looked underneath and...

Engine 2014 mustang GT...coolant smell, no sign of leak.

Got to work yesterday and first noticed coolant smell...I opened the hood and looked all over, looked under the car as well and no sign of a leak and not running hot at all. The smell did seem to come from the coolant reservoir or the overflow hose coming off of it... with the car running I...

What RPM is 3/4s of maximum rated Horspower?

Have to get my exhaust tested for decibel rating and I've read that they have you rev your engine to 3/4s of maximum rated horsepower... What rpm would be 3/4s of maximum rated horsepower on 2014 coyote? Thanks for any feedback in advance.

I got popped by police for my exhaust

Thanks for the feedback... I've since aquired a decible meter and it read 104db (while legal is 94db) at up to 4,000 rpm... with that I'm going to put my stock mufflers back on and once it passes, I'll start over... maybe some mock resonators like you suggested and a more tame muffler.

I got popped by police for my exhaust

My exhaust isn't super loud... I have a '14 Mustang GT with 40 series flowmaster axle backs and resonator delete... other than that the exhaust is stock. Has anyone else had a problem with a similar set up or had a similar set up tested... and what were the results? I want to get it tested on...

    A/c Problem

My 2014 GT had 38,000 miles on it when the A/C compressor took a dump. My A/C just abruptly stopped working... while I thought it was a bit soon for it to need a recharge, I took it to a shop to get it checked and recharged need be and to my surprise the dude told me that the compressor was...

    Should I Buy A Mustang

As far as suspension goes what Ford puts on the mustang for suspension is crap. It's flimsy and will not handle well if you want to add big power, or just drive it fast... The best thing to do for suspension is lowering springs & swaybars.... I did that and it became a completely different...

    Fox Horsepower

All that said; was the 5.0 in the '94 and '95 still based on the Windsor design, 2 valve push rod style?

    Fox Horsepower

@mikestang63 you said that they changed the way they rated horsepower, but what does that mean? 93 Ford Mustang went through a couple changes, that was the first year they did SVT and they were getting ready to change over to the fourth generation. That said: did they change the Windsor...

    Fox Horsepower

I have always wondered why did the Fox lose power on 1993? As far as I can tell from '90 - '92 fox body's had 225 HP and then in '93 it dropped to 205 HP. Did they switch from a Windsor style 5.0 to a modular style 5.0 that year compromising HP?

    Anyone Else's Coyote Consuming Oil?

My last oil change I used Mobile One 5-20 full synthetic and I haven't had any problem at all this time around. Every other oil change I'd be at least a full quart down between oil changes while using Motorcraft 5-20 full synthetic that the dealer provided.

    obviously you're not in California.

    Roush Axle-back Mufflers??

The GT500 mufflers will definitely give you a more aggressive sound. If you change anything else catback it will for the most part only change the tone of your aggressive sound. If it's power you're concerned with you can always install mid length or long tube headers.

    Cold Air Intakes

Yes I get a catalog from them, and I go online and check their stuff out. I was looking at a K&N and CAI kit that they sell with the Bama tuner. That will probably be my next purchase. My goal is to gain as much horsepower as I can, while staying naturally aspirated. I was talking to the guys at...

    Roush Axle-back Mufflers??

I've had 40 series flowmaster on everything from a '55 f100 with a '68 302, '68 mustang with a 289, '97 Dodge Ram and now with my '14 coyote and they sound great. Like I said: a little popping when cold and some drone, but I've gotten compliments, and I think they sound great. The only draw back...

    Cold Air Intakes

Yeah, I have a 5.0 ('14 GT) that is an exceptional gain with just a CAI and tune. That almost what you'd gain with a new manifold.

    Cold Air Intakes

I haven't completely dismissed it as something to do. I have pretty much finished my suspension and want to start adding power. Is a CAI and tune a good place to start?
