    2.3l Ccrm Problem

What is the ccrm exactly? I've heard that the TFI can cause problems similar to this and not allow the car to start when it's hot.

    Common Problem Areas?

Ok folks, I'm a classic and foxbody guy. My son is looking for an 05-09 mustang. He'll be 18 next month and is looking for something to take to college. I need a heads up on what to look for with these body styles. Any common issues or areas to be aware of when we go looking?

Fox Rear Disc Brake Wheel Fitment

I ran some knock off cobra R's 17x9 245/45 on my turbo coupe disc rear. I rolled the lips and didn't have any rubbing issues although they did stick out a bit. I eventually went with the North Racecar brackets and like the tucked in look a lot better. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

Need Help With Auto To Manual Conversion

Hahaha, it always costs more than we think. Yes the pedals are a pain. I will say it helps being short.

    89 Mustang Turbo Conversion

You can, but using the Mustang harness simplifies things.

Need Help With Auto To Manual Conversion

Www.stinger-performance.com has a write up on the swap. I there's is a pretty good description of where to route the cable. The 5.0 pedals will work just fine. The 5.0 and 2.3 do use different cables I believe. I used the turbo coupe hydraulic stiff when I did my swap so I'm not an expert on...

How Do You Protect Your Fox From Thieves?

With that in the back seat you're asking to have it broken into. All the switches in the world may stop it from being driven away, by not before they slash your top to try. Leave nothing in sight, especially in a convertible.

I vote for the turbo swap. Love mine.

    Engine Issues

Good advice^ I would also scan for codes. Let the ECU tell you what it is seeing.

    1993 Mustang 4cyl Ideas

It is possible but really not worth the effort. The cast pistons usually don't survive very long. Most folks will just say to find a donor turbo coupe. (I used an 88 in my turbo swap). You can buy the right parts to build your own but you would be money ahead with a donor.

    Homemade Evap Smoke Test Machine

I just plugged it into a vacuum line and where the smoke comes out, there's the leak. :-)

    Homemade Evap Smoke Test Machine

I'm not sure. I actually found my leak very quickly so I didn't use all the oil that I had put in there. It'll smoke for quite a while. Yes cutting the power kills the smoke. I just flipped the switch on my inverter when I was done. Beware the baby oil stinks when it burns. Lol

Suspension Springs And Control Arms 89gtsummitracing

I put the "b" springs on my 2.3t swapped with v8 suspension. Didn't notice a rake at all. I have SVE lca's.

    Turbo Conversion

I deleted mine and haven't had any issues. There are those that swear you should keep it. Like Red_LX alluded though, mine was in bad shape as well.

Engine Which Models Had The Tall Block 2.3 Turbo?

I've heard of the tall block, but I was under the impression that all of the factory offerings in those cars were standard 2.3l blocks.

    Steering Issue

If its the rag joint between the shift it's an easy fix. If it is indeed where it meets the rack then you may need a new rack. More expensive but not hard.

    Fuel Pressure Problem?

+1 for the Walbro 255. Affordable insurance for future mods as well.
