Can anyone tell me what noise this is coming from my engine bay? VIDEO INSIDE

If the gauge is reading as it's suppose to 180* is about a 1/4 of gauge.

Would there be any interest in a few "how to" videos?

I'm always interested in watching a well made how-to video even if it's a project that I'm not actually going to do. The key though, is to produce something that is pleasing to watch. There are too many poorly made, low effort videos. Example: the video maker fires up a power tool and...

In Tank Pump for 1966 EFI Conversion-1973 tank?

Definitely go with an in tank pump. In-line pumps tend to be annoyingly loud and don't benefit from the fuel keeping it cool. I know you are not looking for a custom tank, but Aeromotives Gen 2 stealth tank is very reasonably priced and the pump/sending unit are already installed and ready to...

What The Hell Happened To This Forum?

I think it went downhill after a site layout change hid the Tech section. You had to know Tech is there and navigate to it. After that there was no real difference (tech is posted in talk) and we have 2 subs splitting the chats. VMF also got off it's high horse about modding and a lot of...

    Door Skinning Issues

Have you put a straight edge on that rocker? To me, it looks like the rocker rises making the gap tighter.

Tech And Talk Are Getting Confused

Talk and Tech are probably getting mixed up because the navigation of the site sucks. Back in the day the forums home page http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/ had direct links to both the Talk and Tech sections. Now you have to through to Talk to get to Tech (if one even knows that it's there).

    Panel Adhesive

I was looking into this. Video on the 3M site specifically states not to use it on unibody rocker panels. I'd assume you'd want to weld to the floor supports as well. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/AXrGJ_D4CWg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I...

Build Thread I Would Like Some Advice On A Book For Rebuilding My 69 Mustang Fastback

    Panel Adhesive

How about using sheet metal screws? Then just grind them down after the adhesive sets.

Systems Monitor....... Would You Buy It?

I always thought it would be cool if the back-lighting changed color accordingly. (ex. back-light on the temp gauge turn red if temp gets high, red if oil pressure gets low, etc.)

Floor Removal Required To Install Convertible Inner Rocker Panels?

http://www.mustangsplus.com/tech/chassis/index.html Just linking a possible alternative in case you are not already aware that it exists. I have no experience with it.

    iPhone and Stangnet

And here I am trying to get my iPhone 4 to go to the mobile version. WTH? What's the site address? Safari just takes me to the regular site. Thanks,

    Time to upgrade exhaust

Just a note: From what I understand, a cross-over needs to be properly placed to be beneficial. And not doing so may even hurt performance.

CA guys need to get behind AB-1740

I'm not trying to plug Good Guys. Just trying to pass the word along to other California car guys. The text below was copied from: Goodguys Rod & Custom Association We all need to act now in support of Assembly Bill 1740, a bill which would delete the current 500 ‘kit-car’ limit on the number...

How good is the TCP X brace?

Another idea I have is to install some type of bracing from the cowl, right behind where the export brace attaches, to the transmission tunnel. I haven't much thought into it, but I'm thinking tubing with some sheet metal shearing. Nothing invasive, it should be able to hide behind the console...

How good is the TCP X brace?

I'm thinking that closing up the bottom of the transmission tunnel might have a significant effect on torsional stiffness. Our convertibles have a nice thick plate for a small portion but I think closing it up as far as possible would be even better. I looked around the house for a paper towel...
