aside from the markVIII and the cobra engines being the same this is good info. the cobra's had forged cranks (8 bolt crank/flywheel) the Mark VIII's did not (6 bolt crank/flywheel) the mark VIII aluminum block will be easier to swap into a GT because of this. plus you can find them at junkyards...

i know they sell moog stuff at advance auto parts. i have them on my cobra and comparing the moog ball joints to the ford ones the difference in quality is amazing. moog is awesome. why ford ever put in "lifetime" non-greaseable parts is beyond me.

im just guessing here, but you may need cobra calipers to do this.
