I have used about 12lbs. of .030 wire on my 66 fastback. A lot of rust repair but i also welded up a lot of areas like around the torque boxes in the rear. It seems to do the job pretty well. Good luck.

I agree with Geostang351, make sure you get a real GOOD look at the cowl from inside the car. If it is ok water could be coming from the windshield gasket leaking, the wiper gaskets leaking or the cowl. Don't want to get you down but it's probably the cowl leaking somewhere.

I'd like to have my car either soda blasted or sand blasted but can't find anybody to do it in my area, Jax.,FL. I would prefer soda just because it will clean up easier but either way would make me happy. I wonder if I could buy the soda blasting media somewhere and do it myself but dont...

I saw th Blue Moon setup at the Silver Springs show in January. It looked pretty cool, pricey, but cool. There seem to be more IRS setups than I realized. Great project idea for someday.

B.S on the ebay history part. There was one of those at the Silver Springs show this year. The guy didn't have a motor in it but it lookd pretty cool. There is a pic of it in one the past few months of Mustangs & Fords that has the Silver Springs story in it.
