Fuel Rail Covers for FRPP Intake Manifold (2007)

Hey gang! I just bought my old Mustang back and it’s got some new goodies now. I’d like to clean up the engine bay. Has anyone found fuel rail covers that work with the FRPP intake manifold? I’d love to cover up all that junk.

    Post Pics of Your Mustang

Guess who’s back? I don’t know how many are around from my first tenure here, but I had to let my 2007 go about ten years ago. I was lucky enough to have to opportunity to buy it back this week and she’s officially mine again! And it’s now blown with a whole host of supporting mods.

    4 wheel 5 lug swap

He ended up finding a Maverick donor. Any idea where I can get some axles? I'm assuming he doesn't trust the stockers at the track. I know we can order custom ones on Moser's site. Just wondering if there's a solution already there.

    Flow American Thunder Catback

I just replaced the rusty off/road X and Edelbrocks that came with my 02 when I bought it with this combo. I love the sound, but it's too dang quiet. I know I'll eventually end up changing the mufflers out. Maybe it's because the former combo was crazy loud, but this just seems too quiet.

    4 wheel 5 lug swap

I don't think he wanted to go through that much fabrication but thank you. That's another valid option. I did find the scans of the article. I will forward that on. That looks like the best route for what he wants to do.

    4 wheel 5 lug swap

Yeah I read about that after I posted. I think he'd rather go with 8.8 if we can, though. It's just tough finding all the info. Mounts and such are no biggie. Just need something about the same length as the stock one. He wanted 9", but I talked him out of that heavy beast.

    4 wheel 5 lug swap

My father in law now has my 77 Cobra II. He got the 2.3L yanked out and has a 302 in it. He wants to do a 5 lug conversion. I've done a lot of searching this morning, and found a few options. I know the fronts we can just swap in 11" Granada rotors with some GM calipers and an adapter plate, or...

That's definitely odd. I had them on my 2007 GT manual. Sounded amazing and fit great.

Do I need any parts? 2.3L to 5.0L

Well, considering selling both now. Moving off the mainland within the next year, so even if I get this all completed, I won't have time to enjoy it. I won't be able to take it with me because I won't have room for an extra car, and I don't think it'd be a good daily driver. Decisions decisions....

    iPhone and Stangnet

Digging up this old thread here.. Just wanted to let fellow iPhone users know.. I'd tried the Unmobile browser and it didn't work for me. I could get into subforums and such, but couldn't properly post. I just got one the other day called Atomic Web and it's fantastic. It allows you to show up...

    question

It shouldn't. If you're really worried about it, though, purchase the MGW shifter. I've never heard one complaint over it. I really liked my Hurst. I liked the notchiness of it. But everyone that didn't like it switched to the MGW and loved it. Mustang Shift Handle

    what tires are you using..

No, I had an 05 and 07. The 555's I went up over 1" from stock tire height, so that could be why they stuck decently on the street. But the reviews are also pretty good. My '05 with the BFG's had 4.10's and it stuck pretty darn well. Of course, if you really want something to stick, you gotta...

I had BFG KDW2's and Nitto 555's. Both were excellent for dry and wet pavement.

    Any problems w/ replica wheels?

If you were to find OE ones, they would stick out too far due to the backspacing, and are only 17". Replica is the way to go. The finish is usually inferior to OE, but they get the job done.
