    Restomod price range?

I hope I'm wrong but minor rust is only what you see. These cars are notorious for hidden rust showing up once you start digging into the body. It's almost always cheaper to buy a car already done than to pay to have someone do yours. Unless you can do the work yourself you will be on a time...

What The Hell Happened To This Forum?

Yeah, I like black cars but never really wanted to own one since they are so hard to keep clean. Add a ragtop that you can't run through a car wash and now you have to hand wash the thing. I've been keeping it covered in the garage to minimize the dust. I'm also using a car duster. I need to...

My First Mustang 68 Fastback, What Do I Do 1st...

You can also get a one piece headliner from Mustangs to Fear, it'll give you 2 more inches of headroom. Adding late model Mustang seats using your 68 seat rails would help add more comfort as well. 67-68 Fastback Mustangs are highly desirable, unless you went hog wild with spending I don't...

What The Hell Happened To This Forum?

Nice Roush and house! Here is another reason I slowed down on my project...Nothing like instant gratification! Nice to know you could keep your toys and still afford a house!

What The Hell Happened To This Forum?

Jim, good to see you on the forum. I've been away for a while as well. I thought you were selling your car a while back when you were moving. I've been stockpiling parts for mine: 351w-410 stroker, Lentech AOD full manual shift, Borgeson steering and Ididit column, Wilwood front discs, 9"...

    Battery Relocation

I'd really be leary of installing a battery in the trunk of one of these cars. Ever accidentally touch a wrench to ground and create a spark while tightening the positive connection on a battery? Add that possibility to a car that has a rubber hose going into the fuel tank through the trunk...

94-04 Mustang Seat Upholstery has been released!!

My seats are from a 94. Passenger is perfect. Drivers backrest is perfect. I only need a seat bottom foam for the drivers side and I can live with the minimal damage in the bottom leather, but would replace the bottom leather if I could get a cover that matches the rest of the leather. If I am...

94 Black Leather Factory Seat Upholstery Needed

That black interior is very nice. I think the seats May be too small. I'm into mine for $125 for the seats and $50 for a bottom frame. I sit on them and I can feel the seat bottom bolsters under my legs, I know the foam is worn but don't really want to put a lot if money into them for new foam...

94 Black Leather Factory Seat Upholstery Needed

Thanks for the replies- so it looks like I'll have to get a complete seat foam set and a complete seat leather set just to replace the bottom foam and leather on one seat. Then it probably won't match my passenger seat. Im going to check with an upholstery shop and see what they can do for me...

94 Black Leather Factory Seat Upholstery Needed

I am a vintage guy putting 94 mustang black leather seats in my 67 mustang. The passenger is perfect, drivers side upper is perfect but the drivers side lower needs to be replaced. Does anyone sell oem seat leather? I'd like to match what's currently there instead of redoing both seats. Any...

Wheels-Tires 67 Shelby clone, Shelby 10 spokes or Vintage Wheels v50

I'm still trying to decide what wheels I want on my clone, what do you think is the better choice, Vintage Wheel Work's v50's or Shelby 10 spokes? I am thinking 15 x 7's, not sure what size tires I want. Suggestions for either of the 2 wheels mentioned and tire size would be great. I had 14 x...

5 years later, my 67 Shelby clone is painted and home..

Good Idea, those Harbor Freight blankets are thick and cheap...kinda like me... haha. Does anyone know of a loose type blanket that I can easily cover the car with while it is stored in the garage, looking for something lightweight, kinda like felt. Easy to put on but won't scratch....

Finally I have my car home and I am ready to start putting in back together...Not sure where to start...I need to figure out if I want to use dynamat or fatmat, I have the tar floor pieces and carpet already. Then on to the painless wiring harness... then who know's what.. A couple of...

How Much To Paint Stripes On 67 Clone

Thanks Jim... yeah, been away for quite a while. That's what divorce does for you. My car sat at the paint shop for 4 years and I never really pushed the guy to paint it, it was kinda like a free storage facility!. Ran into the guy that did alot of body work on the car and he offered to paint...

Labor Cost To Install Mustang Ii Front Suspension

I've been away from my project for a couple of years... divorce, moving...and now I am getting excited to get started again. My 67 FB Shelby clone is in need of a front suspension upgrade. What kind of ballpark figure would I look at to have a Mustang II front suspension installed ( Labor only...
