I have used Fusor with good results but it will never replace my Miller. It has its place and uses and so does my welder.

I dont think they are made to have fuel ran through them.

There are enough holes in the rails that you should be able to spray the inside after the welding is done.

A sawz all or Plasma cutter will get the major prts out fast but the spot welds are still a pain.

I have them on my 68 and I think they are great,you can put the engine just where you need it (within reason).

You may see the price fall some if they dont sell them, other than that I doubt they will get cheaper.

Even the stock st stressed the rails, the st would move toward each other at the top. And again the st are still only welded to very light guage aprons and an even lighter firewall. The stock rails are the same guage as the st and in my .02 stock rails still held the majority of the weight.The...
