Engine Engine - Need to know how to get to the vacuum reservoir for the smog pump.

I need to find the vacuum reservoir for the smog pump. If you look at the 2 solenoid valves on the passenger side inner fender well metal, there are the 2 Thermactor Air (smog) pump valves that control the flow from the smog pump to the cylinder head or the exhaust system. Smog pump solenoid...

Engine OOOPS - dropped something down the intake when removing the lower intake manifold.

I dropped something down the intake when removing the lower intake manifold... It was most likely a small screw or washer. When you remove the upper intake manifold, it is easy to cover up the openings in the lower intake once you have the upper intake removed. The lower intake is a different...

As the title says. the driver's side door lock is stuck in the down position. The electric actuator doesn't seem to want to move, it is is one of the Chinese ones that seem to last forever. Beyond WD40 and Visegrips to pull up on the door lock pin I don't have any bright ideas at this time.

Timing Cover/harmonic Balancer Removal And Replacement

The first steps are the same as replacing a water pump, but for reference I will include them too. You will notice the phrase “ in a zip bag or your loose parts bin” gets lots of repetition. This is an important concept to embrace, especially if the project stretches out more than a day or...

Off Site Adverting Trip Avg Antivirus Warning

Noobz347 Some of the offsite advertisers ads trip the warning from AVG Free antivirus (www.avg.com).
