Hi,
I am having an issue with the door not staying closed on an 01. It seems that the latch
isn't engaging. I have tried lubricating the latch area but it isn't working.
I have had this issue with my old 02 Expedition and about a week ago with my new-to-me 04 Expedition.
I was able to temp fix both of the trucks by just using a lubricant, but the issue would come back.
Another thing I noticed was the door lock button(visible on the top of the door panel) seemed to be
stuck in the up position until I hit the lock/unlock button a bunch of times.
I was wondering if this is a general Ford issue, or if anyone knows a fix.
