Engine 05 Mustang Gt Knocking At Idle

My GT runs strong like nothing is wrong with it, but when the car gets to operating temperature and only at idle it has a very noticeable knock. When the RPMs increase it goes away, goes back down to idle the knocking returns. I'm stumped and so is everybody that I talked to. Anybody have any of these issues with their GT?

Sounds like it's oil pressure related and is happening when the engine's at hot idle and the oil pressure is at its lowest.
Possible causes are a worn cam phaser, worn timing chain tensioner, and worn con rod bearings.
Use a mechanic's stethoscope to try to localize the knock, and use a mechanical pressure gauge to check the oil pressure at hot idle.

YouTube "Cam Phaser Knock" and see if it the same sound that you are experiencing. If it goes away when increasing the engine speed above 1500 rpm or so, it is more than likely a bad cam phaser.
